Shopping takes shape at the Olde Mistick Village where you can linger in more than 60 quaint shops in a colonial New England style setting, which feature various unique items.  As the ultimate art, nature, and history-lover's destination, the Florence Griswold Museum features world-class collections, changing exhibits, family activities and the famed Griswold House.  

Last but certainly not least - visit the casinos!  Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM at Foxwoods, located in Mashantucket, is North America's largest casino.  Here you will find gaming, shopping, dining, top-name entertainment, two great spas and much more.  Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville is a popular stop for big name entertainers as there are various comedy shows, performances, and bands that play at the venue throughout the year.  The casino has some of the area's best dining and shopping around.
